The yellow mealworm (Tenebrio Molitor) is a beetle of the tenebrionidae. The beetle itself is not very well known. Its larva ( mealworms ) is much more. On the one hand, because it constitutes an important source of food for birds and reptiles, and on the other hand, because of the harmful character when it is present in large numbers.
